ON ARRIVAL AT YOUR INTERVIEW DESTINATION
Remember your interview starts straight from the reception area when you present yourself to the receptionist/secretary.
Do not assume that the receptionist is there to receive calls/visitors, you may be surprised to learn that the receptionist will be the first person to be consulted by the employer on your positive attitudes or otherwise at the time of your arrival.
DRESS CODE
Most organisations prefer a formal dress code and not a flamboyant outfit.
For men: simple dark suit with matching shirt and tie. If you can, try to use a double-cuff shirt with cuff-links.
For women: always present yourself in a formal outfit.
Your hairstyle can tell a lot about you. It must be kept very tidy.
Men should always try to trim or shave their beards - very important!
Please do not wear trainers with formal/corporate outfits.
Make it a habit to polish or clean-shine your shoes.
Learn to use deodorants and/or light colognes for fresh smells, this complements your outfit. It also gives the interviewer a positive attitude towards your personal hygiene.
